Welcome to ShadowedDesigns.com, the CSS - XHTML styled portfolio of Aaron Christian.

Shadowed Designs was a concept developed a few years ago prior to entering the Center For Arts & Technology. At first I created a few posters and branded them with the name, then it grew into a scholarship plan. I created a flash styled site that taught others how to apply web development techniques correctly and fluently. Although I did not win, it was a very educational experience for myself. I think it was then that i decided that i wanted to do this for the rest of my life.

I am attending CATO (The Center For Arts And Technology) here in Kelowna B.C. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and often times wonder what I would be doing if I hadn't fell in love with this industry. Graphic and web development is my passion and it is my dream to one day to own my own company.

Industry Standards

In todays world of web development the industry standards have been set high. I try to avoid the use of technology that disables search engines from ranking your site high above others. I use intelligent codeing and test browser compatibility frequently.

Structure and consitency throughout a website is vital to creating an overall user-friendly "feel". Todays standards are looking for better ways to effectly apply current techniques in a simpiler form. I am also surfing the web to aquire the latest updates in this evolution of technology.

I am constatly learning from the industires best and am very greatful for the opportunities in which I am exposed to everyday.
